Galentine’s at Contigo: A Tradition of Event Design, Partnership, and Celebration
At Contigo, we believe love is not limited to couples. It lives in collaboration, in long event days shared with trusted partners, and in the creative energy that happens when talented people build something together.
That spirit inspired our Galentine’s Party, an annual celebration created to thank the vendors who shape Austin’s hospitality and wedding world alongside us.
What began in 2019 as a simple idea has grown into a tradition. Each year, we gather planners, florists, designers, rental teams, entertainment partners, and the many collaborators who make extraordinary events possible. It is our opportunity to host them with the same intention, creativity, and care we bring to every client celebration.
Every Galentine’s Party is built around a new theme. We treat it as a blank canvas, designing immersive environments where food, florals, tabletop, lighting, and entertainment move together as one cohesive story.
In 2025, we transported guests to London with a twist. The evening unfolded scene by scene, blending Spice Girls energy with unexpected Shakespearean moments. From room to room, appetizers and cocktails were designed to belong to their surroundings, reinforcing the feeling of transformation at every turn.
In 2023, Galentine’s became Camp Contigo. Sunshine, poolside gatherings, and playful competition set the tone for a day that felt nostalgic yet elevated. Mini burgers fresh off the grill and refined camp-style snacks kept the experience relaxed but intentional, proving that thoughtful design can feel effortless and fun.
And in 2022, we escaped to a winter chalet. Alpine textures, warm lighting, and a layered brunch experience created an intimate, transportive atmosphere. Dockside brie and apple butter tarts welcomed guests before a progression of bites, from potato beignets to tiny crumpet Benedicts, balanced comfort with refinement and mirrored the warmth of the setting.
Year after year, Galentine’s has become our creative reset. A space to experiment, to push concepts further, and to explore how atmosphere, food, and collaboration can move together as one idea. Each theme looks different. The intention remains the same.
At its heart, Galentine’s is a reminder that meaningful events begin with imagination and are strengthened by partnership. When ideas are shaped early and built collectively, they have room to evolve into something far more memorable than a single moment. And that is where the real magic lives.
